WHY I DO WHAT I DO
Because I truly believe exercise saved my life...
WHY I DO WHAT I DO
I LOVE WHAT I DO
I am blessed to have the most amazing job in the world. I get to work with the most amazing people. I get to help women feel better in thier skin. We laugh. We cry. We move. We sweat. We yoga. We practice TRE. We work on becoming the best us we can. We meet ourselves where we're at.
I AM A GEEK
I geek out on wellness, movement, food, chocolate, travel, music and more. I love to move. I love spinning. I love yoga. I love TRE. I love to go to Greece.
Once I left Higher Education after the birth of my second daughter, I decided to combine my professional and personal backgrounds together teaching/training and wellness.
I get to help people find their "ahh", get stronger and feel comfortable in their skin
by using a variety of wellness tools including TRE, yoga, breath work and more.
The word ANANDA means bliss. After I completed my initial yoga teacher training certification, I knew I would one day create a place where people could go to feel good. I also knew it would be a place where yoga is taught and it would include more. It would be all encompassing with various other wellness/healing tools. Hence the name WORKS (a lot of stuff). Plus anandamide is the bliss molecule in chocolate! How cool is that?
WHY I REALLY DO WHAT I DO...
and why I believe what I do can help save women from a life of misery and torment.
What I realized a few years ago was that I was managing my undiagnosed PTSD from childhood sexual assault with exercise.

"Christy brings a wide and varied background of fitness knowledge to everything she does. Her organic energy and intuitive nature is what makes her a wonderful teacher. Christy's personal sense of humor bring a new dynamic to her classes as well. It is a privlege to include her among my friends".

"I am so impressed and grateful for each unique experience and for Christine's expertise and gentle guidance. She creates a safe space for the body to process stress and trauma and to let it go. It is an expansive and mindful process of recognizing, accepting, and observing at a physical and conscious or unconscious level and allowing it to flow through you. It is truly transformative and the more you do it the better it gets!"

"I just wanted to let you know that my hip and leg are beyond wonderful thanks to you and Dr. Dan. I still have a lot of work ahead, but I can do things that I haven’t been able to do for years. I know that I won’t have to live with a frozen leg for the rest of my life. For that I am eternally grateful to you. Thank you for helping me get in touch with Dan. He certainly has rearranged my inner structure. I hope you know how much I appreciate everything you’ve done for me over the years!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Almost skipping along and with much love,
